1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Untamed Frontier Safaris website and booking any services, you agree to be bound by these **Terms and Conditions**, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and our services.

2. Bookings and Payments

2.1 Reservations

All safari bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A **non-refundable deposit** (usually 30-50% of the total tour cost, specified at the time of booking) is required to secure your reservation.

2.2 Final Payment

The remaining balance of your tour cost must be paid in full at least **60 days prior to the safari start date**. For bookings made within 60 days of the start date, full payment is required at the time of booking. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your booking.

2.3 Pricing

Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified and are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in exchange rates, government taxes, park fees, and other unforeseen circumstances. Once a deposit is received, we will endeavor to honor the quoted price, but reserves the right to adjust if necessary.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1 Cancellation by Client

• Cancellations made **90 days or more** before the safari start date: Loss of deposit.
• Cancellations made **60-89 days** before the safari start date: 50% of the total tour cost.
• Cancellations made **30-59 days** before the safari start date: 75% of the total tour cost.
• Cancellations made **less than 30 days** before the safari start date: 100% of the total tour cost.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. We strongly recommend purchasing **comprehensive travel insurance** to cover unforeseen circumstances leading to cancellations.

3.2 Cancellation by Untamed Frontier Safaris

While rare, Untamed Frontier Safaris reserves the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, clients will be offered an alternative tour of similar value or a **full refund of all monies paid**.

4. Safari Itinerary Changes

Untamed Frontier Safaris makes every effort to adhere to the confirmed itinerary. However, due to the unpredictable nature of wildlife, weather, road conditions, and local operational considerations, **itinerary changes may occur**. These changes may include alterations to accommodation, activities, or routing. We will inform you of any significant changes as soon as possible and strive to provide suitable alternatives of equivalent standard. No refunds will be given for minor itinerary changes.

5. Travel Insurance

**Travel insurance is mandatory** for all clients participating in our safaris. It must cover personal accident, medical expenses, repatriation, loss of luggage, and cancellation or curtailment of your safari. You are responsible for ensuring your insurance coverage is adequate for your chosen itinerary. Proof of valid travel insurance may be required before departure.

6. Health and Fitness

Clients are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and possess the necessary physical fitness for their chosen safari. Some activities, such as gorilla trekking, can be physically demanding. Consult your doctor regarding vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, and any specific health requirements for travel to Uganda. We reserve the right to decline participation if a client's health or fitness poses a risk to themselves or others.

7. Liability Disclaimer

Untamed Frontier Safaris and its employees, agents, and affiliates act only as agents for the clients in arranging safaris, transportation, accommodation, and other services. We shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury, damage, or expense, direct or indirect, resulting from delays, cancellations, accidents, natural disasters, political actions, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control. Clients participate in safaris at their **own risk**.

8. Force Majeure

Untamed Frontier Safaris shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, or government restrictions.

9. Photography and Marketing

Untamed Frontier Safaris reserves the right to use any photographs or videos taken during our safaris for promotional and marketing purposes, including on our website, social media, and brochures. If you do not wish for your image to be used, please inform us in writing prior to your safari.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of **Uganda**. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

11. Amendments to Terms

Untamed Frontier Safaris reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website. Your continued use of our website and services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
